Meeting with the organizers of Cities for Mobilityat the Stuttgart´s City Council ExtrExtraenergy gave pedelecs from Flyer, Raleigh, Helkama, Hercules, Giant and Diamant to the Pro Pedelec Spain. 6 different manufacturers from 6 countries. A journey of 4,200 km was no impediment to Pópulo Tourism Services SL In making a decision. The possibility of visiting the recent Extraenergy´s Showroom in Stuttgart had the value of seeing "in situ" developments that Connie Krieger, Uwe Schlemender and Thomas have done and that can be adopted by the Program Pedelec Pro. Upon arrival in Stuttgart around 2 pm , after 19 hours of driving, all the Extraenergy team gave us a warmed welcome with open arms and a soup by Uwe, that nourished the body to take the rest of the afternoon with enough energy to visit the beautiful city of Stuttgart in pedelec. During the ride Sebastian Moreno, manager of Popular Tourism Services SL was able to appreciate the virtues of different brands and models, choosing the Diamant from Canada as his preferred choice pedelec. The next day was full of action: * Visit the City Council of Stuttgart to discuss with representatives of Cities for Mobility * Review of pedelecs participating in the program * Exchange of ideas and best practices * Visit of the local police who tested all the models * Farewell to the music of a pianist (forgot his name) to cheer us for our long drive back to SpainMany new ideas came to light. Many needs, too. Pro Pedelec Spain aims to solve all the needs that meet the market demands. We reached an unanimous agreement in letting try a pedelec to as many people as possible. This simple action can be a boost to the market. Security measures, such as those offered by BATSO new standards, or tests conducted by Extraenergy give security to the public. A good outreach program could put more pedelecs on the streets and more cars would remain in their garages. The program is not officially running yet although we made several trips with pedelecs and had already a very positive result.
